Who We Are
Kasturi Foundation
Kasturi Foundation is a compassionate non-profit organization based in Pune, Maharashtra focused on uplifting underprivileged communities through various noble initiatives. Our core areas are women’s empowerment, supporting education, and health & wellness. Our activities include providing essential study kits to underprivileged school children and working to improve educational infrastructure in rural Maharashtra. For women’s empowerment, we offer vocational training and resources, helping destitute and widowed women achieve financial independence and personal growth. We also emphasize health by promoting regular Yoga practice and providing medical equipment to the elderly. Our visits to old age homes and schools for differently-abled children bring joy and companionship. At Kasturi Foundation, we strive to create a more equitable and supportive society for all.
Women Empowerment
At the heart of our mission is women empowerment. We focus on providing financial and educational empowerment, particularly to destitute and widowed women. We offer training in Agarbatti and noodles making, and also purchasing machines for them to help them generate income on their own for sustainable livelihoods. Additionally, we assist in marketing their products ensuring they get fair prices for their labour.
Educational Assistance
Education is the basic and fundamental right of every child. It is an empowering tool for every individual and plays an important in the development of our society and family. Kasturi Foundation is committed to supporting child education to ensure unhindered growth of them and society. We aim to provide educational assistance to children especially those who belong to underprivileged sections by distributing study kits containing essential items like books, notebooks, pencils, and pens.

Independence Day
Every 15th August, we joyously celebrate Independence Day at our organization. We gather at our premises, where the president hoists the national flag, and together, we sing the national anthem
Republic Day
We enthusiastically celebrate Republic Day on 26th January at our organization. We come together to honor the founding principles of our democratic nation. Our celebrations include flag hoisting, cultural
Diwali
Diwali, the festival of lights, inspires us to illuminate the lives of the vulnerable. We visit old age homes and schools for physically disabled children, bringing gifts and arranging activities for their enjoyment.
